Inasmuch as I enjoy writing, I do not take pleasure in participating in schemes to develop “templated” short articles for other “authors” to utilize or abuse to their delight. Or, at the very least, to benefit from my effort!
On occasion, I am asked by a client to take somebody else’s article, make some changes, and make it their post. Rather frankly, this smacks of plagiarism … I won’t do it, so please don’t ask!
Rather, if there is a basic concept in a particular article that strikes a responsive chord in you, I would be interested in having a look at the post and see if it motivates me to develop original work.
The secret, naturally, is original work, not a swindle of another person’s works and not a thinly disguised rewrite of the short article.
My policy regarding working for others is this: if you trust my writing skills, you can trust that what I write for you will be “knock their socks off” great writing that will base on its own two feet.
An excellent author is a wellspring of initial product while a poor writer holds on to coattails of other authors or, worse, takes their information outright.
Don’t get caught up in the “post mill” schemes that some so-called authors are involved in.
Your credibility is at stake and you will be discovered.
